Byrd is an extremely good part of the Memphis metropolitan area for driving. Accessing a place to park is easy. This part of the Memphis metropolitan area is not very amenable to biking since there are a good number of hills for cyclists to brave, and the cycling network is not very comprehensive. Byrd is also not very well-suited for pedestrians as almost no daily needs can be met without a car.
Services
Shopping for one's groceries usually requires the use of a car in this community. With regards to education, there are only a very small number of primary schools in Byrd and accordingly they can be a very long distance away. In addition, this part of the Memphis metropolitan area does not contain any high schools.
