Burlington
Burlington presents a tranquil township with a predominantly quiet atmosphere and a diverse mix of housing options, including single detached homes, townhouses, and apartments. The community features residences built mainly around 1990, offering a variety of unit sizes from lofts to spacious four-bedroom layouts. Convenient parking and accessible bus lines serve the area, making transportation manageable for many. Essential services such as pharmacies and some grocery options are generally within easy reach. While public green spaces are limited locally, attractive parks are readily accessible in nearby townships, providing additional outdoor opportunities for relaxation and recreation.
Driving is a very good transportation option in this area. It is especially convenient to park. In contrast, the transit access in this township is quite bad. Thankfully, house owners can count on Burlington Towne Ctr Light Rail Station, Florence Light Rail Station and Burlington South Light Rail Station on the Riverline Light Rail. The township is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are usually very close by. Burlington is not very appropriate for cycling because there are few bike lanes, and there are a fair number of elevation changes. Traveling as a pedestrian is also not very feasible for home buyers in Burlington because few day-to-day errands can be run without a car.
Residents may find it challenging to reach high schools and primary schools as pedestrians. In addition to public schools, there are private elementary and secondary schools. When it comes to food, home buyers in this area typically have to turn to a car to shop for groceries in one of around 20 stores. Nonetheless, getting to the closest pharmacy and accordingly some staple foods is generally easy. A limited variety of restaurants and cafes is available as well.
The character of Burlington is exemplified by its calm ambience. Most areas in Burlington are very quiet, as there are low levels of noise from traffic. Parks are spread out sporadically, which makes them rather challenging to reach. Despite that, there are over 50 public green spaces nearby for residents to explore, including John F Kennedy Park and Riverfront Promenade.
