Most homes for sale in this neighborhood are located in places that are not particularly well-suited for pedestrians as most daily needs are sometimes difficult to meet without the use of a car. However, biking is easy in Burke Centre since the cycling network is reasonably comprehensive.

It is a rather short trip to access primary schools from anywhere in Burke Centre. On the other hand, locals may consider it very difficult to get to high schools as pedestrians. Along with public schools, there are private elementary and secondary schools. As far as food is concerned, the nearest grocery store in this area is typically only a reasonably short pedestrian trip away. In addition, this part of Pohick is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat, and home buyers are served by a few cafes as well.
