Brookside is a very good part of the Greater Philadelphia metropolitan area for driving. It is very easy to park. However, Brookside is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, homeowners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are usually very close by. The bike is a somewhat poor mode of transportation in Brookside as the area is not particularly flat, and the bicycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive. It is also sometimes difficult for pedestrians to get around in Brookside as running common errands is occasionally difficult without the use of a vehicle.

Primary as well as high schools are convenient to reach without a car from most properties for sale in this community. House buyers have the choice between public and private schools at both the elementary and high school level. Concerning food, it is easy to get to the nearest grocery store without a car from anywhere in this community.
