Driving is an excellent transportation option in Brooklyn Park. It is a rather short car ride to the closest highway, such as I-694, from any home in this city, and coming across a place to park is generally easy. On the other hand, this area is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, residents benefit from the Fridley Station & Platform with access to the Northstar Commuter Rail. Homeowners have access to about 10 bus lines, and it is very easy to reach a nearby bus stop from most residences. Traveling as a pedestrian is not particularly practical for house buyers in Brooklyn Park as few day-to-day needs can be met without a vehicle. In contrast, this city is bicycling-friendly because the cycling network is good, and bike riders do not face serious elevation changes.
Services
The nearest supermarket in Brooklyn Park is usually only a reasonably short distance away. A limited number of restaurants and cafes are available as well. As far as education is concerned, locals will welcome that no matter where their house is situated in Brooklyn Park, primary schools are nearby. On the other hand, high schools are not particularly plentiful and thus tend to require an extended distance to get to. Apart from public schools, there are private elementary and high schools.
Character
Brooklyn Park is a very good city to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed environment. The noise levels in this area are very low, as the streets are generally very tranquil. Lastly, the majority of locations within the city have reasonably good access to public green spaces, like Noble Sports Park and Oxbow Park, since there are over 150 of them close by for residents to discover, including Kylawn Park and Hamilton Park.
