Driving is a reasonably good medium of transportation in Broadlands. It is very easy to find a place to park. In contrast, traveling by transit can be challenging in Broadlands due to the low service level. Nevertheless, there is Ashburn with access to the Metrorail Silver Line. There are approximately 10 bus lines traversing the community, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. Commuting by bicycle is convenient in Broadlands as there are a good number of bike lanes. Getting around as a pedestrian is not especially practical for residents in Broadlands as carrying out daily needs is sometimes difficult without a vehicle.

A grocery store is ordinarily accessible within a rather short pedestrian trip from most properties for sale in Broadlands. In addition, those who like to dine in restaurants will have a good number of opportunities, and a small selection of coffee shops is available as well.
