Broad Street is an extraordinarily good part of Portsmouth for moving around by car. The majority of properties for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, and it is very easy to park. Broad Street is not especially conducive to biking as the bicycling network is not very comprehensive, and there is a significant amount of elevation changes. Traveling as a pedestrian is also not very common in Broad Street, even though most day-to-day needs are easy to meet without a vehicle, and various businesses are close by.
