Transportation
Cars are an excellent mode of transportation in Brent. Nearby highways, such as Spr Road No 8-A, are reasonably easy to reach from any home in Brent, and it is especially convenient to park. On the other hand, the public transit service in Brent is not very frequent. Thankfully, there are about 10 bus lines traversing the community, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. This part of the Pensacola metropolitan area is not very amenable to bicycling since Brent has fairly poor cycling infrastructure. Nonetheless, cyclists do not encounter serious elevation changes. Getting around as a pedestrian is also not very popular in Brent, although meeting daily needs is easy without a car.
Services
A grocery store is typically reachable within a rather short pedestrian trip from any home in Brent. A limited variety of restaurants and coffee shops is available as well. With regards to education, primary schools are convenient to access without a vehicle from any location in Brent. On the other hand, it can be very difficult to reach high schools as a pedestrian. Residents are served by public and private schools at both the elementary and high school level.

Brent offers a slower-paced atmosphere. Brent is very quiet overall, as the streets are usually very tranquil closer to Spr Road No 8-A, I-10 or one of the railway lines.
