On the other hand, Bowleys Quarters is not a very pleasant part of the Greater Baltimore metropolitan area for getting around by public transit. Thankfully, there is the Martin Airport with access to the Penn - Washington. The community is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most homes. Bowleys Quarters is moderately bicycling-friendly. Many of the houses for sale in this community are located in places that are not very conducive to those who prefer to get around as pedestrians since running common errands is challenging without the need to use a car.

Services

Buying one's groceries frequently demands the use of a car in Bowleys Quarters. A small number of restaurants and cafes are available as well. Regarding education, locals will appreciate the proximity to primary schools, which are within a short distance from most, if not all, houses for sale in this community. On the other hand, there are no high schools in Bowleys Quarters.

The character of Bowleys Quarters is exemplified by its relaxed environment. Most areas in Bowleys Quarters are reasonably quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case around the railway line or the airport (Martin State). It is occasionally hard to reach parks within the community since they aren't well-distributed. Still, there are approximately 10 parks close by for residents to unwind in.
