Bordentown
Bordentown offers a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere with minimal noise disturbance from streets or surrounding areas. The township provides convenient access to major highways such as I-295, ensuring smooth and easy vehicle travel throughout the area. A selection of bus lines runs through the township, providing additional transportation options. Housing primarily consists of spacious single detached homes and townhouses, many built around 1981, featuring three or more bedrooms, suitable for varying needs. While cycling routes are limited due to hilly terrain, public green spaces and quiet neighborhoods add to the township’s welcoming and tranquil character.
The best approach to navigate Bordentown is usually a car. The majority of real estate listings are a short drive from the nearest highway, such as I-295, and it is very convenient to find a place to park. On the other hand, the public transit infrastructure in this township is quite bad. Nevertheless, there is Roebling Light Rail Station and Bordentown Light Rail Station on the Riverline Light Rail. The township is connected by a few bus lines. Traveling by bicycle is challenging in Bordentown because the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed, and there are a fair number of slopes. It is also inconvenient for pedestrians to get around in Bordentown since few common errands can be run without the need to use a vehicle.
It is rarely an option for property owners in Bordentown to shop for their groceries without a vehicle. A limited number of restaurants and coffee shops are available as well. With respect to education, house buyers may find it challenging to reach high schools and primary schools without the need for a vehicle. Apart from public schools, there are private elementary and secondary schools.
Bordentown offers a relaxed ambience. Bordentown is quiet overall, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - although that is not the case closer to one of the railway lines or I-295. It is rather challenging to reach parks from the majority of locations within the township since they are spread out sporadically. Despite that, there are around 40 parks close by for residents to visit.
