This part of the city will draw people who appreciate residing in a compact area since it is moderately pedestrian-friendly; running day-to-day errands is convenient without a car, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. However, bicycling is sometimes challenging in Borah since the cycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive. Thankfully, the area is rather flat. The public transit service in Borah is not very frequent. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighborhood, and bus stops are ordinarily very close by. However, traveling by car is especially convenient in Borah. The majority of real estate listings are a short car ride from the nearest highway, such as I-184, and it is very easy to park.
Services
It is convenient to reach the closest grocery store as a pedestrian in this area. Additionally, there is generally a restaurant or cafe just around the corner. With regards to education, it is a reasonably short pedestrian trip to access primary schools from anywhere in this part of Boise City. In contrast, residents may find it difficult to access high schools without a car. Residents benefit from public and private schools at both the elementary and secondary school level.
Character
No matter what type of character home buyers prefer in a neighborhood, Borah is a reasonably good option. Most areas in Borah are very quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic closer to I-184. On the other hand, there are approximately 10 public green spaces nearby for residents to relax in, such as Cassia Park, and they are very well-spread out, which makes them easy to access. Lastly, even though this neighborhood is not known for its vibrancy, with its a few nightlife venues, it is very easy to find a place to grab a drink because they are generally located very close by.
