Boone is fairly cycling-friendly as the bicycling infrastructure is good. Traveling as a pedestrian is not especially practical for property owners in this area because few day-to-day needs can be carried out without a car.

Parks are sparse, resulting in them being rather challenging to get to from the majority of locations within this township.
