The preferred method to get around in this part of the Richmond metropolitan area is often driving. Accessing a parking spot is quite easy. Many of the houses for sale in this part of the Richmond metropolitan area are located in places that are not especially well-suited for pedestrians as most daily needs are sometimes difficult to meet without a vehicle. Bon Air is also not especially amenable to cycling because there are a fair number of elevation changes to challenge cyclists, and there are few bike lanes.

Services

Locals will welcome that wherever their property is situated in Bon Air, primary schools are close by. However, there are only a very small number of high schools and therefore they can be a very long distance away. Residents have the choice between public and private schools at both the elementary and secondary school level. As far as eating is concerned, the closest grocery store in this community is generally only a rather long pedestrian trip away. Additionally, Bon Air is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat, and residents can enjoy approximately 10 cafes as well.

Bon Air is an excellent community to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed environment. Bon Air is especially quiet overall, as the streets are generally very peaceful. It is occasionally challenging to get to green spaces in the community since they aren't well-located. Despite that, there are approximately 30 parks close by for residents to explore.
