The best approach to navigate Boaz is very often a car. It is very easy to park. Most houses for sale in this community are located in places that are not very conducive to those who get around as pedestrians as most daily needs are very inconvenient to meet without a vehicle. Boaz is also not very suited for bicycling as there are a fair number of elevation changes, and there are few bike lanes.

In all but a very small number of cases, a vehicle is needed to shop for groceries. There are a few choices for those who value close by restaurants. With regards to education, there are no high schools and no primary schools in this part of the Parkersburg-Vienna metropolitan area.
