In contrast, this area is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, there are about 10 bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally within a short distance. Traveling as a pedestrian is not very convenient for residents in this township as very few daily errands can be run without a vehicle. Bloomington is also not very amenable to bicycling as there are few bike lanes, and there are a fair number of slopes.
