The bike is a rather poor means of transportation in Bloomingdale since the bicycling network is not very extensive. Nevertheless, there are not many slopes to confront cyclists. Traveling as a pedestrian is also not very practical for residents in Bloomingdale as running day-to-day errands is occasionally challenging without a vehicle.

Residents may consider it challenging to access high schools and primary schools without a car. Along with public schools, there are private elementary and secondary schools.
