Bethany is rather car friendly. It is easy to park. However, the transit service in this community is not very accessible. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the community, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. This part of the Portland metropolitan area is rather bike-friendly as the bicycling infrastructure is fairly well-developed. Traveling as a pedestrian is not especially practical for home buyers in Bethany since very few common errands can be run without the use of a car.
