Belle Haven is an extremely convenient part of Greenwich for traveling by car. It is very convenient to access a place to park, and it is a very short drive to the nearest highway from any location in this part of the community. In contrast, the public transit service in this part of Greenwich is not very frequent. Nevertheless, there is the Greenwich on the Danbury, New Haven and New Canaan. Property owners are served by a few bus lines, and most homes are near a bus stop. Biking is difficult in this part of Greenwich as the terrain is not particularly flat, and the cycling infrastructure is rather limited. Getting around as a pedestrian in Belle Haven is also not very common, although running daily errands is convenient without a car, and numerous businesses are moderately close by.

It is challenging to access the closest grocery store without a car in Belle Haven.
