Nonetheless, house owners can rely on the Barrington and Fox River Grove on the Union Pacific Northwest. The village is connected by a few bus lines. Barrington Hills is not very convenient for pedestrians since running day-to-day errands is impractical without a car. The bicycle is a somewhat poor means of transportation in Barrington Hills as the cycling network is not very well-developed, and there are a fair number of slopes to challenge cyclists.
