Characteristics

Transportation

Cars are a great medium of transportation in this part of the city. It is very convenient to find a place to park, and most real estate listings are a rather short drive from the nearest highway. In contrast, public transit riders may have very few choices in this part of the city as a result of the service's low frequency. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines. Traveling as a pedestrian is not very feasible for residents in this area as few common errands can be run without a vehicle. Bicycling is also sometimes difficult in this part of West Linn since traveling by bike is made strenuous by the typically steep terrain, and there are few bike lanes.

Services

A grocery store is ordinarily reachable within a reasonably short trip from most properties for sale in this area. There are also a limited number of opportunities for those who value nearby restaurants and cafes. Concerning education, it is a rather short distance to access primary schools from most homes for sale in Barrington Heights. However, this part of West Linn does not contain any high schools. Residents have the choice between public and private elementary schools.

Character

Barrington Heights has a character that caters to a fairly diverse group of people. Even though the atmosphere is not the liveliest in this part of West Linn with the bars in nearby neighborhoods, it is very difficult to find a place to grab a drink because they are generally located very far. Most areas in Barrington Heights are especially quiet, as there are low levels of noise from traffic. Access to green spaces, such as The White Oak Savanna and Tanner Creek Park, is easy from a lot of locations within the neighborhood since there are a few of them close by for residents to check out.
