It is very convenient to come across a place to park, and nearby highways are particularly easy to access from anywhere in Barre. In contrast, Barre is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the city, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. Barre is not very bike-friendly as there are quite a few elevation changes, and the cycling infrastructure is not very extensive. This city is also not especially well-suited for those who like to travel as pedestrians since few common errands can be run without a vehicle.
