Bardonia is particularly car friendly. It is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway, such as I-287, from any location in this community, and it is very convenient to find a parking spot. However, traveling by public transit is challenging in Bardonia. Thankfully, there are around 10 bus lines, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most properties. Traveling as a pedestrian in Bardonia is not very popular, even though running daily errands is convenient without a car. Bardonia is also not very suited for biking as the cycling infrastructure is rather limited, and there is a significant amount of elevation changes.

In Bardonia, locals will typically be able to reach primary schools without a car. However, there are only a few high schools and consequently they can be an extended distance away. In addition to public schools, there are private elementary and secondary schools. Regarding eating, property owners in Bardonia usually need a vehicle to travel to one of approximately 10 supermarkets. Bardonia is a very good community to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed atmosphere. Most areas in Bardonia are very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamor. Most locations within the community have reasonably good access to public green spaces, like Germonds Park, since they aren't well-spread out. Despite that, there are a few parks nearby for residents to explore.
