Balboa Peninsula is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, the community is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are typically around the corner. In contrast, driving is a fairly good transportation option in this community. It is convenient to park.

High schools and primary schools are not abundant in Balboa Peninsula, and consequently may require a very long distance to get to.
