More specifically, the closest rapid transit station, including Vermont / Athens with access to the Norwalk - Redondo Beach, is ordinarily within a short distance from most residences in the neighborhood. There are a few bus lines crossing the neighborhood, and the closest bus stop is usually around the corner. Athens is also suitable for pedestrians; running common errands is easy without a vehicle, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. This part of the community is not very suited for biking since there are a limited number of bike lanes, and bicycle riders encounter a significant amount of slopes.

As far as food is concerned, a grocery store is generally accessible within a short distance from most properties for sale in this part of the community.
