Arthur is an extremely good township for traveling by car. It is very convenient to access a place to park. Arthur is not very conducive to pedestrians as almost no common errands can be run without needing a vehicle. Even though there are a limited number of hills to challenge cyclists, the bicycle is a fairly poor means of transportation in this township as there are very few bike lanes.
There are no high schools and no primary schools in Arthur. With regards to eating, purchasing one's groceries usually requires the use of a vehicle in this area. There are also a few opportunities for those who value restaurants in close proximity.
