Arnold offers a peaceful environment with low noise levels and easy access to several green spaces that provide serene outdoor experiences. The community features a mix of single detached homes and townhouses predominantly built around 1979, with spacious options including three and four-bedroom residences. Nearby primary schools contribute to convenient educational opportunities, complemented by a variety of public and private options. A selection of approximately ten restaurants enhances local dining choices, while pharmacies offer accessible basic essentials within close reach. Additionally, well-developed cycling infrastructure supports alternative transportation, making Arnold a well-rounded community for daily living.
The car is usually the preferred method of transportation in Arnold. It is very easy to park. Many of the homes for sale in this community are located in areas that are not very well-suited for pedestrians as most daily needs are challenging to meet without a car. However, Arnold is amenable to bicycling.
In all but a very small number of cases, a car is required to shop for groceries. Nevertheless, pharmacies are typically convenient to access as a pedestrian and supply some staple foods. There are also a few choices for those who care about close by restaurants. Regarding education, house buyers will appreciate that wherever their property is situated in this community, primary schools are nearby. On the other hand, there are only a very small number of high schools and consequently they can be a very long distance away. In addition to public schools, there are private elementary and secondary schools.
Arnold is an excellent community to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. Most areas in this part of the Greater Baltimore metropolitan area are especially quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic. Lastly, it is easy to get to green spaces from a lot of locations within the community since there are about 30 of them nearby for residents to enjoy.
