Apple Pie Hill offers a calm and peaceful atmosphere that many find appealing. The neighborhood features predominantly single detached homes, along with some duplexes, providing a variety of options especially in three-bedroom sizes. Convenient access to primary and high schools ensures educational facilities are nearby. Daily shopping needs can be met with ease, with some destinations accessible locally while others are a short drive away. Car travel is particularly convenient in this community due to excellent highway proximity and ample parking availability. Although green spaces are not abundant within the area, parks in adjacent neighborhoods provide pleasant recreational opportunities.
It is convenient for pedestrians to move around in Apple Pie Hill; many daily needs are easy to meet without needing to get in a car. On the other hand, Apple Pie Hill is not very bicycling-friendly as the topography is not particularly flat, and there are few bike lanes. The car is usually the preferred mode of transportation in this area. Most houses for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway, and coming across a parking spot is easy. In contrast, Apple Pie Hill is not an especially convenient part of Maple Shade for traveling by public transit. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines crossing the community, and most properties are very close to a bus stop.
It is convenient to access the closest supermarket as a pedestrian from any home in Apple Pie Hill. Moreover, a restaurant is usually just around the corner, and a limited selection of coffee shops is available as well. Regarding education, both primary and secondary schools are easy to access without a car from anywhere in Apple Pie Hill.
One of the appealing aspects of Apple Pie Hill is that it contains both vibrant and quiet areas. Even though the ambience is not the liveliest in this part of the township with the bars in nearby communities, it is easy to find a place to grab a drink because they are generally located close by. At the same time, this area is very quiet overall, as the streets are usually very tranquil. Public green spaces aren't well-situated, which makes it occasionally difficult to access them. Still, there are a few parks nearby for residents to relax in.
