The preferred means of transportation in Ancient Oaks is very often driving. Coming across a parking spot is quite easy. It is sometimes difficult to travel by bike in Ancient Oaks since the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed, and there are a fair number of slopes for cyclists to brave. Most homes for sale in this community are located in areas that are also not very conducive to pedestrians because meeting daily needs is occasionally challenging without a vehicle.

It can be very difficult to get to high schools and primary schools from properties for sale in this community. At the elementary level, there are both public and private schools.
