In contrast, the transit in this neighborhood is rather poor. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines, and it is easy to get to a nearby bus stop from most houses. Although bicycling is more practical in some sectors than others, the bike is a somewhat poor method of transportation in Ancarows Landing as the terrain is not especially flat, and there are few bike lanes. There are also relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of this part of Richmond, despite the fact that many daily errands can be run without a car, and various businesses are reasonably close by.

This neighborhood is an excellent area for those who aren't bothered by a little noise, as during busier hours of the day, traffic can occasionally be bothersome.
