Most real estate listings are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway, and finding a parking spot is generally easy. On the other hand, commuting by public transit is very hard in Allen Ranch. Nevertheless, residents have access to a few bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. Getting around as a pedestrian is not especially convenient for home buyers in this part of Gilbert as running day-to-day errands is occasionally challenging without the use of a car. Although the terrain is fairly flat, it is also sometimes challenging to travel by bike in Allen Ranch because the cycling network is not very comprehensive.

There are only a very small number of high schools in Allen Ranch and consequently they can be a very long trip away. Furthermore, this part of the town does not have any primary schools. At the same time, this area is especially quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamor. Getting to parks is rather difficult in the neighborhood since they aren't well-spread out. Still, there are approximately 20 public green spaces close by for residents to check out.
