Alabaster-helena
Alabaster offers a calm, quiet environment with minimal street noise, creating a peaceful setting for daily life. The neighborhood features a mix of single detached homes and townhouses, many built around 1993, with a variety of unit sizes including numerous three-bedroom options. Residents benefit from easy car accessibility with ample parking availability, simplifying errands and transportation needs. Culinary options include several nearby restaurants and approximately ten grocery stores, supporting convenient meal options. Though cycling infrastructure is limited and slopes are present, the overall transportation system is well-suited for vehicle travel. Alabaster’s slower pace and residential character make it an inviting place to settle.
Cars are a very good transportation option in Alabaster. It is very easy to come across a parking spot. It is difficult to commute by bicycle in Alabaster as the bicycling infrastructure is fairly poor, and there is a significant amount of hills. A majority of the homes for sale in this city are located in areas that are also not very well-suited for people who like to get around as pedestrians because running common errands is impractical without a vehicle.
It is rarely possible for house buyers in Alabaster to buy groceries in one of around 10 stores as pedestrians. There are also a few opportunities for those who care about restaurants and cafes in close proximity. As far as education is concerned, there are only a few high schools and primary schools in Alabaster and therefore they can be an extended pedestrian trip away. In addition to public schools, there are private elementary and secondary schools.
Alabaster offers a relaxed atmosphere. Alabaster is wonderful for those who enjoy quiet areas, as the streets are generally very calm.
