Transportation
Cars are a very good transportation option in Alabama Hill. Parking is generally easy. On the other hand, Alabama Hill is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighborhood, and bus stops are usually very close by. Alabama Hill is a fairly convenient part of Bellingham for cyclists. More precisely, there are a good number of bike lanes. Alabama Hill is not especially conducive to pedestrians since few common errands can be run without needing a vehicle.
Services
It is rarely possible for house buyers in Alabama Hill to purchase groceries as pedestrians. Likewise, there is often a restaurant or cafe just around the corner. When it comes to education, it is a reasonably short pedestrian trip to access primary schools from most houses for sale in Alabama Hill. In contrast, there are only a very small number of high schools and therefore they can be a very long distance away.
Character
Alabama Hill is appealing, as it contains both vibrant and quiet areas. Although the atmosphere is not the most lively in this part of Bellingham with the bars in nearby neighborhoods, it is rather difficult to find a place to grab a drink since they are generally located relatively far away. At the same time, this area is very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamor.
