Driving is very often the preferred means of transportation in Ahtanum. It is especially convenient to park. It is challenging to travel by bike in this community since there are a fair number of hills, and the cycling infrastructure is quite bad. Getting around as a pedestrian is also not very practical for residents in Ahtanum as carrying out daily needs is difficult without the use of a vehicle.
