Cars are a great transportation option in Agate Point. Parking is generally easy. However, the transit service in Agate Point is quite bad. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighborhood, and most residences are near a bus stop. Commuting by bicycle is difficult in Agate Point because cyclists are faced with a significant amount of slopes, and the cycling network is not very well-developed. Thankfully, there is a rather high density of cyclists. It is also very inconvenient for pedestrians to get around in Agate Point because almost no common errands can be run without the need for a vehicle.

Agate Point does not have any high schools or primary schools. With regards to food, in all but a very small number of cases, a vehicle is required in this part of Bainbridge Island to reach the nearest supermarket. A small selection of restaurants can be found in this area.
