Driving is very often the best method to navigate Academy Gardens. It is a reasonably short car ride to the closest highway from anywhere in this part of the city, and it is easy to come across a place to park. However, the public transit infrastructure in Academy Gardens is not very practical. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are usually around the corner.
It is often practical for property owners in Academy Gardens to shop for groceries without a vehicle. Likewise, there is generally a restaurant or cafe in close proximity. With regards to education, it is a rather short trip to get to primary schools from most houses for sale in Academy Gardens. On the other hand, it can be very hard to access high schools without a car. At the elementary level, both public and private schools can be found.
Academy Gardens is a great neighborhood for those who enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities. Although this part of the city is not known for its vibrancy, its main streets can still be quite lively, and finding one of the a few nightlife venues is very easy because they are generally situated in very convenient locations. On the other hand, there are about 10 green spaces close by for residents to check out, like George Jacobs Playground, making it very easy to reach them.
