This community is a very good part of the Greater Boston metropolitan area for traveling by car. It is very convenient to park. However, Abington is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, residents can depend on the South Weymouth and Abington with access to the Kingston Line. The community is served by a few bus lines. Many of the houses for sale in this part of the Greater Boston metropolitan area are located in areas that are not very conducive to those who like to travel as pedestrians as running common errands is at times difficult without needing to use a car. This community is also not especially amenable to bicycling because there are a good number of hills, and the cycling infrastructure is fairly poor.

Services

High schools and primary schools are not especially plentiful in Abington, and thus may be a rather long distance away. Along with public schools, there are private elementary and high schools. In terms of food, it is easy to reach the closest grocery store without a car from any home in this community. Moreover, Abington is a fairly good place in which to eat out, and property owners benefit from around 20 cafes as well.

Character

There is a vast selection of green spaces in Abington. Parks, like Beech Hill Brook Area and N River Collaborative Land, are very well-spread out and there are over 100 of them nearby for residents to discover, resulting in them being easy to get to from most locations within this community. As there are very few pedestrians, this community is relatively calm.
