About Us
Belfast, Maine – the bay and beyond. A community in which you can truly live, work and play in.
Belfast is composed of proud multi-generational locals and fresh newcomers. Recognized by USA Today as one of America's culturally coolest cities, our small city has a little something for everyone - from our thriving arts scene to our delicious bakeries and local restaurants, to our small farms and boat builders. Proud of its heritage with an eye on the future, you'll see the Belfast area constantly embracing its dynamic history by finding new ways for locals and visitors to take advantage of the surroundings. Our once-famous Belfast to Moosehead railroad is now home to the Rail Trail where you can walk along the harbor and the Penobscot River. What was the home to Belfast's long-standing chicken plants are now home to our beautiful Belfast Commons and park that overlook the bay and that include our thriving indoor, year-round Farmer's Market. Historic buildings abound in a downtown filled with stores, restaurants, a beautifully restored movie theater, and the vitality and energy of its citizens and visitors.
Our Belfast office is centrally located across from the Post Office in a beautiful brick building at 121 Main Street. Drop by - we'll be glad to show you around.
