The property consists of 640+ acres and is currently being used to graze cattle. It is predominately cleared with 320 acres planted to pangola grass, 240 acres in native pasture, and 80 acres of woods (pines and cypress). The surrounding area is cattle grazing and farm land (vegetables and sugar cane). Just south of the property is one of the largest areas in South Florida for winter vegetables. In addition, there is excellent hunting on the property. Large deer (10 point and better) have been seen on the property. The property will carry about 240 mother cows with calves on a year round basis. The property was also used as a hay operation, which produced in excess of 2,500 52 inch rolls of pangola hay. Potential uses include, cattle grazing; hay production; vegetables production; sugarcane production; and hunting.
Although there has been some preliminary engineering done on the property, including a USDA wetlands determination, there are no existing water use or surface water management permits.
