Tim and his wife Lynn originally hail from the Jersey Shore. After leading a corporate “nomadic life” for many years, they purchased a “USA home-base” in Wilmington in 2005. Wilmington offers a great climate, the ocean, a convenient airport and is midway between their children who reside in NYC, suburban Philadelphia and Florida.
Tim was a Managing Director and International Human Resources Executive with a global Swiss financial institution for over 30 years where he led a variety of human capital initiatives. During his tenure he spent time in New York and over 18 years abroad in Zurich, Switzerland and London, UK. Having personally moved more than 12 times, including several international moves, he has an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the issues associated with moving and relocation and the importance of finding the “right” home.
The Gardner’s settled in Wilmington full-time in May 2011. Currently Tim is an adjunct professor in the Cameron Business School at UNCW where he teaches International Business and International Supply Chain Management. He holds an undergraduate degree from Moravian College, Bethlehem, PA; a certificate from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University, NJ; and successfully completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School, MA. He resides in Landfall, and is a member of the Country Club of Landfall, President of the Woodbridge Home Owner’s Association, a member of the UNCW Cameron Business School Executive Network, and is Chairman of the Willie Stargell Foundation.
ReMax/Executive clients will benefit from Tim’s extensive background in customer relations. The company’s primary focus on specialized personal service and knowledge of the local market play to his strengths. Throughout his career, Tim thrived on meeting new people and facilitating solutions for their needs; similarly, he looks forward to helping clients find their ideal property or strategically market and sell an existing property.
