Born into a US Air Force military family of five children, I acquired my core values of service to others and support of my community at an early age. My childhood memberships and memories as a Brownie and Girl Scout selling cookies door to door, neighborhood by neighborhood on Travis Air Force Base helped shape my core values.
This led me to earn several degrees, a BA and Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of California at Berkeley and California State University Hayward, respectively. I then went to work for the Solano County Health & Social Services department where I spear-headed several community campaigns; Neighborhood clean-ups in economically stressed communities; Volunteer programs to help Spanish-speaking only women gain access to prenatal care. And, my most priced effort was teaching parenting skills to incarcerated women in the Solano County jails. I then went on to work for the State of California Health Department to allocate tax-payers funds and oversee community health programs.
So, when my family recommended I become a Real Estate Agent, I initially thought WHAT? But then, I soon learned my passion to help others attain healthy lifestyles can be gained through the empowerment of home-ownership. It was the perfect fit for me. As a result, I decided to earn my California Real Estate License in 2004.
Now, with more than 15 years of residential Real Estate experience, I have successfully helped over 100 families attain home ownership and reach their goal to build wealth by investing in Real Estate.
