I appreciate the opportunity to earn your business!
Randy Steiger finds a way to make good things happen for his clients. Living in San Luis Obispo for twenty-two years has provided unique insight regarding the local real estate market. Combined with a strong business education, proven professionalism, and a friendly manner, Randy’s clients find his local experience is both valuable and comforting.
Going from a successful Real Estate Agent to a Real Estate Broker and owner/operator of Re/Max Del Oro has allowed Randy to find his niche in San Luis Obispo County. He is known for his impeccable reputation and long list of satisfied clients. He moved to San Luis Obispo in 1976 to attend Cal Poly. Upon graduation in 1980 he took three years to travel around the world by ship, plane, sailboat, and other types of land vehicles.
His future wife (originally from Pacific Grove, California) offered me a ride from a youth hostel in Dunedin, on the South Island of New Zealand, and they traveled together for another six months after that. They settled back in San Luis Obispo in 1983 and Randy enrolled in Cal Poly's MBA program to enhance his employment opportunities. After graduation he took a position with a CPA firm in San Francisco. They lasted only nine months in San Francisco and made a hasty, homesick retreat back to San Luis Obispo. Randy was offered a new position at the San Luis Bay Inn in Avila Beach where he had worked off and on since 1976, starting as a bus boy. The owners of the hotel generously created the job of "Resident Manager" for him, and within six months he had become the General Manager of this five-star hotel. In 1990 the San Luis Bay Inn was sold to a time-share company and he was terminated.
About to become a new father, he quickly obtained a Real Estate License and never looked back. They have two great boys, now adults, and give thanks daily that they made the wise decision to raise their family in this wonderful corner of the world. In September, 2003, Randy bought the Re/Max franchise for San Luis Obispo and found that he was destined to own his own company. We are small, but dynamic. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of service while placing absolute priority on maintaining our clients' best interests at all times.
