Robert "Bob" King
Robert D. King has been a Broker with RE/MAX Realty Group (was previously the firm Re/Max First), 101 Canal Ponds Blvd., Rochester, NY 14626, for the past 22 years and has been working in the real estate business for 37 years. Bob was born in Rochester, New York, and graduated in 1968 from Greece Arcadia High School. He attended the University of Miami, Florida, and the University of Akron, Ohio, where he graduated with a B.S.B.A in marketing. He lettered three years with the golf team at the University of Akron. Bob and his wife, Shelley, presently reside in Hilton, on Lake Ontario and have two sons. Their son Andrew is currently a sergeant in the United States Army serving in Iraq. Their son, Steven, and daughter-in-law, Kelly, live in the Village of Hilton with their two children Rubi, 15, and Braydon, 5. Bob was licensed in 1972 and associated with John C. Geisler from 1972 to 1981 and Wills Realty from 1981 to 1988. In 1988 Bob started Re/Max First and served as its owner until 2001. In 1977 he was awarded one of the Real Estate Board of Rochester’s first Sales Master awards, and has received this award each year since. In 1986 Bob received the Realtor Associate of the Year Award from the Rochester Board of Realtors. Bob has been a multi-million dollar producer since 1977 and in the last five years, Bob has sold in excess of $12 million of real estate each year. He has also earned the Certified Relocation Professional designation. As of 2003, Bob has earned his SRES designation, which stands for Senior Real Estate Specialist. Bob’s hobbies include collecting antiques and baseball cards, and he is an avid golfer. Bob is a member of Journey Christian Church and has served as Metro Chairperson for Greater Rochester Young Life. Bob was a long time member of Brook-lea Country Club and is a two- time Club Champion and former Junior Golf Director. Bob is recognized as a dynamic, highly professional Realtor, providing the highest quality of friendly, personal and efficient service.
