Mr. Salinas has been a Commercial/Industrial Agent since 1982 and has helped facilitate business, construction, lending, and leases all throughout Southern California. Recently he was selected as Director of Project Development for America’s #1 Developmental Football Program, and as a Project Development Adviser for Empire Resorts International., Inc on a 50-acre Commercial Project in KOBE, Japan. Palm Springs is his headquarters and home. He has lived here since a child and is a graduate of Palm Springs High School. While his business and personal interests give him an edge in international business and civic affairs, he also knows the Coachella Valley unlike few others and often spearheads business clients in directions that they didn’t know possible. He’s a great mind to bounce ideas off while in search of a better opportunity.
Decorated Navy veteran, communications and systems strategist, Amado C. Salinas II, returned to private life in 1994, and has worked as an active Licensed Commercial/Industrial Realtor, and provides expertise and services, via consulting, to both companies and individuals throughout California, Hawaii, Nevada, and Idaho.
Since 2007, Mr. Salinas has served as Co-chair of the IT Committee for the USC IGM Art Gallery, volunteers considerable time to a select set of non-profits, including Celebrity golf events, fundraisers for children’s charities, at-risk youth, and U.S. Veterans. He served as an Aerospace Engineer with Hughes Aerospace & Communications. Mr. Salinas advanced to the Northrop Aircraft Division, where as a Systems Analyst he supported new aircraft for the Department of Defense, all of which required top-secret clearance.
In 1986, the Department of Defense offered Mr. Salinas the position of Operations and Systems Support
Analyst. As an Information Specialist, he supported various projects, and was a Systems Analyst on the high-speed, electronic-digital development team that created the current Digital Imaging and Military Medical Records system used today. Mr. Salinas was also a member of the Crane Aerospace development team for Boeing’s 787 ‘Dream Liner’ Aircraft, which assured ‘Level A’ FAA Flight Safety verification. Mr. Salinas has served as a senior consultant and applications engineer on aerospace and military contracts. His military experience and acumen have presented numerous opportunities in private industry, and he looks forward in applying his skills to support the client's Real Estate needs.
