I was born and raised in Ormond Beach Florida, what most of us know as the sunshine state! I have done my undergraduate studies at Daytona State College and am currently still working towards my degree. In the mean time, I have received my real-estate license. It has been an easy process maintaining 2 jobs and attending school for my Associate of Arts as well as studying to obtain my real estate license. My mother always told me, “things are only as complicated as you make them.” I have lived by that in this journey and have managed to keep myself organized and manage my time appropriately. With that, I have become successful achieving my goals.
Most would say I was born into the real estate business and it’s in my blood. My grandfather Richard Dow, was president of the Daytona Beach Area Board of Realtors in 1987. He started real-estate in 1978. In 1988, he was voted Realtor of the year! In 1991 he became Manager, Vice President of the Property Management Division of Watson Realty Corporation. He has many more Real Estate accomplishments that I could spend all day telling you about. Now my grandfather is retired and enjoying the life he has created for himself & his family.
With real estate being in my blood, I was blessed to meet a person like Kandi Schromm who has been voted best realtor in the surrounding area from 2012 through 2017. Kandi has been a successful realtor since 2004! I started working with Kandi as an administrative assistant (not yet knowing my calling was real estate) and shadowing her real estate lifestyle since June 2016. She has taught me most of my real estate knowledge before I even thought about attending Bob Fritze Real Estate School. Kandi, who supported me in my journey to real estate saw much potential in me as a real estate agent. I am proud to say that Kandi and I now work as a team since June 2017 when I officially became a licensed Realtor. May I say that I never thought working with another woman would work out so wonderfully.
With all my career goals and educational goals, I also have a very best fur friend! I rescued Sophie from the Halifax Humane Society in 2015 in a very bad condition. While going to school, studying and working two jobs, I managed to change her life for the better as she also changed mine. Sophie came home with me that day, and helped me change my life with more exercise with play time at the park and long walks on the beautiful Daytona Beaches. Through my experience with Sophie, I learned that I want to give back to the community by volunteering at the Arni Foundation (a local pet shelter in my area).
With all that being said... I’m ready to help each and every one of my clients through a smooth, calm and well-organized selling or buying procedure. I will work timely and efficiently on any question or concern you may have through this process with credible information. I can guarantee that, if I do not know the answer, Kandi will. That’s one of the many things that make our team work so well. I also have a goal to make every client a part of my life and create a great, lasting relationship, even after the sale or purchase of their home!
