As an enthusiastic supporter/champion of the people and communities he serves, John Jaquess is a dedicated Realtor who loves working with people to help them succeed in accomplishing their housing goals.
John is a graduate of the University of California-Riverside where he obtained a BA Degree in Anthropology and Geography and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. He also taught a class in Land Use Planning at the University of La Verne. As an active Realtor, John has successfully helped several buyers and sellers in their transactions and closings. He has also maintained an on-going relationship with each client to ensure they are satisfied with their results. John is a member of National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors and Orange County Association of Realtors. During a former membership with Inland Valley Association of Realtors, John was actively involved on several committees and represented IVAR at the State Capital on Legislative Day regarding legislation to enhance home ownership. John’s background prior to Real Estate was extensive with over 40 years in land use planning and development in both the public and private sectors. He worked at San Bernardino County for 20 years with the last eight years as the Director of Planning, Building and Safety and Land Development Engineering. He also worked for the City of Redlands and then Highland where he served as the Director of Community Development. One of his proudest accomplishments was being the Project Director for the preparation of the 18,000 acre Chino Hills Specific Plan which was the largest, multi-owner specific plan in the State at that time and became a model for others to follow. That Specific Plan served as the basic land use and infrastructure system design for what is now the City of Chino Hills.
John has lived in Southern California his whole life. He and his wife chose to move to Orange County to be closer to beach where they can spend more time with their family members. They have four children and eight grandchildren.
John has spent his entire career in service, both public and private. He believes that you should treat each person you serve as if they are your only client and give them the highest quality of attention and service possible. John’s goal as a Realtor is to be honest and ethical at the highest standards, and to bring reliability, trustworthiness, integrity, and dedication to the success of ensuring that his clients achieve their goal(s) in any real estate transaction buying or selling their home.
