Growing up with a Realtor for a parent, it's safe to say that real estate has been a mainstay in Chris’s life for as long as he can remember. Some of his fondest childhood memories took place in model homes where his mom was helping people find their perfect home. While other kids in his neighborhood were outside playing, he and his siblings could often be found in a model home talking with eager couples and families in an effort to buy his mom some time when she was already assisting others. It was during these times, and the years of observation watching his mom, that he developed a passion for helping coach and assist people through the process of what will likely be one of the biggest decisions of their life: buying or selling their home. But, growing up around real estate has also given him an inside-look at what can happen when clients are mishandled in this industry. His family was personally affected, like so many, during the housing downturn of 2008. During middle and high school in Charlotte, North Carolina, he saw many of his friends’ families forced into foreclosure or end up underwater after being represented by agents who did not necessarily serve their best interests. For these reasons, he holds himself, with the highest priority, to a fundamental commitment of honest and ethical behavior. This business, he believes, is one built on the foundation of great relationships in which everyone wins at the end of the day!
