HELPING TO MAKE DREAMS COME TRUE
Ranae Harris's favorite childhood game was Monopoly. That childhood game became a reality in 2003 when she began investing in Residential Real Estate. She hasn’t acquired Park Ave. or Boardwalk, but she’s working on it. As an investor, she learned that the value of property differs based upon it’s intended use, as well as a few things about the maintenance of a property. She loves sharing her knowledge with others.
While employed as a Deputy Sheriff, she earned her Illinois Real Estate license in 2010 and a Managing Broker’s License in 2011. Upon retiring from the Sheriff’s Department at a young age, she decided to pursue her passion for real estate on a full-time basis. She accredits her degree in psychology, a minor in business, and working as a Crisis Counselor as attributes to her career in real estate. One’s willingness to attempt to understand people, recognizing the emotions involved in the transaction of a real estate, listening to clients wants and needs, and negotiating a contract are key components in Ranae’s practice as a Realtor. Becoming a Realtor enhanced her knowledge in the real estate industry.
Ranae is an avid believer in continuing education and has earned the designations of GRI, PSA, and ALHS. She’s committed to her profession and clients and will continue to broaden her knowledge in the real estate industry. Ranae has a better understanding of financing, the real estate market, negotiating, and contracts. She has also developed a good working relationship with appraisers, loan officers, inspectors, and realtors. Her background in law enforcement can direct one in locating the proper agencies regarding information within a particular area. She has a great network of contractors in which she can provide a referral.
Ranae’s enjoyment of social activities can also be of assistance in locating a property in proximity to your interests. She’s also a licensed Realtor in Missouri. She has the opportunity to assist others with their real estate goals. Ranae promises that her client’s interest will always come first. She'll provide them with the same care as though she was personally selling or purchasing a property. Most importantly, she realizes that she works for you. Working together and communicating are key elements to a successful transaction.
