Heather Bustos has been in the residential real estate business for 25 years, with over 15 years of executive management experience. She has extensive national real estate operating knowledge, as well as international real estate experience (specifically in Spain). Heather has experience with Affiliated Businesses (Mortgage, Title and Insurance), as well as Corporate Relocation Services. She has in-depth knowledge in marketing luxury properties, having worked with the Sotheby’s International Realty, Luxury Portfolio, Christie’s International Real Estate and The Collection
Currently, Heather serves as the President and Employing Broker for RE/MAX of Cherry Creek. This award winning office is unique: it is a Broker Shareholder concept with 65 of the 100 agents as co-owners.
Heather served as a Vice President at PorchLight Real Estate Group. She helped attain their affiliation with Leading Real Estate Companies of the World and built their relocation department. She also worked extensively on helping them create their platform to work with real estate developers around Metro Denver to market and sell new residential developments. She also worked on their luxury platform, and was engaged as a strategic business coach.
She also served as the Senior Vice President for the Washington, D.C. Region for The Long & Foster Companies. In this role, Heather was responsible for the strategic planning and management of 13 offices, 750 agents with over $2.5 billion in annual sales.
Heather started her real estate career in 1992 with Sears and Company, The Team, an independent real estate firm in Greeley, CO. Since getting her start in real estate, she has gone on to work in sales and management for many of Colorado’s top brokerage firms. She has served as President and Employing Broker for Perry & Co. Real Estate, and as President/COO of Fuller Sotheby’s International Realty. Heather successfully orchestrated the sale and transition of Fuller Towne & Country Properties to Fuller Sotheby’s International Realty (nka LIV Sotheby's International Realty). As President/COO, she was responsible for 5 offices and nearly 200 full time Brokers and staff, producing $1 billion in real estate transactions every year.
Heather has been a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), and served as the Chapter Chair for the Colorado Chapter. She also served as an Area Chair for the Western Region REX of YPO. In the real estate industry, she served on the Forms Committee for the Colorado Division of Real Estate, and as a Director for Metrolist through the Denver Metro Association of Realtors. Heather was awarded Manager of the Year from the Denver Board of Realtors in 2007. Bustos is a Past President of the Mile High Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors. She is also currently a member of the Denver Metro Association of Realtors, the Colorado Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. She graduated from Regis University in 2000 with her B.S. in Business Administration, Cum Laude.
Heather, a Colorado native, enjoys road biking, golfing, water and snow skiing, and is an avid scuba diver and traveler. She currently resides in Denver with her husband.
