Often times I am asked the same question - "Do I like my job?" No matter where, or when I am asked this question, I always answer it smiling - "No, I don't like my job - I love my job!" Originally, Brooklyn, NY, I have lived in Florida as well as New Jersey. Moved to the Jersey Shore 18 years ago from Staten Island and have never looked back. I have been in the real estate business for 13 years and have seen all changes in the market and been fortunate enough to adapt to all of them. We have to be able to learn how to paddle (and obtain balance) before we can ride the wave when it comes in. In this business flexibility, constant education of new trends and focusing on your clients' needs are just some of the small things that separate the successful agents from the non-successful agents. There's more than that great sales pitch that gets them hook, line and sinker. You need to be a great listener and you must have the understanding that not every transaction is going to be about or result in a sale. Sometimes, success is measured on how well you interact with people and how you help them to move on to the next step in their lives. It requires patience and understanding. I feel confident that I can be all I can be for RE/MAX and my clients helping them move on to the next step in their lives, no matter what it may be.
