Native Texans are very fond of their heritage and rightly so. With that said, there are a fair number of us from somewhere else who like to say, “I may not be a native Texan, but I got here as quick as I could!” Pam Green fits that description perfectly! Moving to the big city of Houston nearly 25 years ago from that somewhere else, she has lived in this state longer than any other place and is proud to call Texas home. With an established career at a major airline and working in busy downtown Houston, one fateful weekend she and her husband, Bryan decided to get out of the city and just ‘go for a drive somewhere’. They ended up in Washington County, stumbled upon a little house in need of a bit of TLC, complete with knee-high grass on three acres located on top of a hill with views of the rolling hills beautiful Brenham is famous for. The rest they say is history!! Fast forward about 20 years and the little house has been moved on to 55 acres of land they call Rancho Verde and is now their primary residence with the hustle bustle of the big city just a memory. Pam brings a unique perspective to the real estate profession. Having escaped to the simple life of Washington County, she has lived the experience of building a new home, renovating an old one and turning a raw piece of land into a little ranchette complete with a few cattle, horses and of course, the smaller creatures like cats, dogs and chickens!
